Title: Here With Me
Album: Undone
Artist: MercyMe
Capo on Second Fret
I feel this is easier on the fingers and sounds cleaner.
Verse 1:
A Em7 G2 D
Chorus:
A Em7 G2 D
Verse 2:
A Em7 G2 D
Chorus:
A Em7 G2 D
Bridge:
C G2 D
C G2 Bm7 C
Chorus:
A Em7 G2 D
If you feel it is too high, then move the capo down a fret or don't use it at all. This is MY interpretation of how to play the song. If you want you can go out and send $$$ to buy Mercy Me's song book.
I just bought the cd today and played with these chords and it sounds right. In regards to it sounding to high I don't understand. To high to sing? I assume. Keep in mind Bart has an awesome vocal range. Slapping a capo on a guitar is for the ease of the guitar player. Chances are in the studio and live a capo is used. I doesn't mean your less of a guitar player it means your smart. Keep it simple for preforming the song night after night.
I checked through all the other tabs for this song, and you guys are right, capos are God's gift to guitar players (along with fingers, voices... yeah, you get the idea)! The other chords are easily played higher on the neck than down low as power chords, but if you have trouble playing up on the neck, these are the best chords out here. 5.0 from me on this one! God Bless!
Hey I have the sheet music bought from a Christian Music store and these are the chords used in them. I know theres a part in the begining of the song that just picks while th epiano is playing, but I can't figure out picking for it so I just transposed the piano to guitar and use those chords for the background guitar of my band. I think maybe Mercy Me made a higher version for WOW WORSHIP 2005 because it sounds good with the CD.
