Hey man, I just gotta agree with ya on that this IS an awesome song! Great job on the chords; they are exact. Good ear. Gotta run. God bless!

When I play this song, I use the perfect / open chords and run them up and down the neck -- it sounds awesome, and closer to the CD version of the song.

So, E is played in 7th position as (low E/6 to high E/1) 079900, A2 is played at 0 as 002200, C#m is played at 4th as 046600, and Bsus is played in 2nd as 024400. To play the A2/F#, play 202200. Anchor the first finger on the 5th string, the 3rd and 4th fingers on the 4th and 3rd strings respectively, and slide the chord up and down the neck. I use the 2nd finger to add the F#. Then you can play the verse as 7 0 4 2, and the chorus as 7 2 4 2 0, etc...

Also, the instrumental sounds better if you leave out the first A2 chord, so it looks like: 7 4 2 0 (E C#m Bsus A2). This all makes sense when you play it, honest!
