Indescribable
Chris Tomlin
Tabbed By: Jonathan Daniel
I've seen/heard chris play this song in two different keys.
At the Austin Stone, he usually plays it with capo 2 (key of A)
But in his recording i heard on the radio, its capo 4 (key of B)
so play it with whatever capo you can sing with best.
The verses are in kind of a 6/8 sounding time signature.
This tab is what from what I heard and may not be
(and probably isn't) 100% accurate, so feel free to make any corrections :)

While Jesse (bass) makes this song really work, Chris and Daniel follow him with the guitars for the most part, even on some of the D's between the C and G on the chorus where Jesse makes the big walkup. And the whole song is in 6/8. Peace.
ok, i thought i posted a tab of this song, i dont know if it takes a while to get it up but i know this takes like two seconds. so anyways, i figured out the riff that Daniel plays in throught the song, and since its on an electric im going to do it with no capo, because thats the way he plays it.

there ya go, i think thats the easiest way to play that part. have fun
Im not sure about the chords but i know he uses a capo on the third fret. If you want to learn to play this song from chris, go to New Song Cafe at worshiptogether.com It teaches you to play it and gives you the chords. Good luck learning it!
I think we're all talking about the same song, just different versions. Chris is known for changing the keys of his songs quite often. Just like I have never seen him do Not To Us the same time every time. There's various keys to each of his songs. It's tough to figure out which is the best.
Why do you guys keep suggesting that "your tab is the correct tab?" Who cares right? Whoever is looking for tab on this site has to know that most of the tab on here is "member-defined". So please, when you post a new version, can you just say, "heres what I think the chords are," instead of saying, "no one has it completely right yet" and then post their version. It seems arrogant but I could be wrong.
True, you can do the song however you want but to get the sound that we are hearing from the cd takes a chord chart that is accurate and I think the original question was how to play the song like they are hearing it, (the way they have fallen in love with it). Sometimes its better to just do it your own way and make it your own song to the Lord anyway, but I listen to the songs over and over until any other way just doesn't seem right unless its for the better like Hillsong's version of "Take It All" on the new release Mighty to save that is coming out this September. They included a "woe hoe hoe" after the words "I'll never be ashamed of You". This added a fun thing for the congregation to be involved with while singing this song. Hillsong United didn't originally have that. My point is it can be done differently but lets try to do it on purpose.
