to the administrator of this artist. i left something out by accident. could you please change the 9b10's to 9b10r9's and clears the votes for this tab?

agoldenboy720 - 2004-06-23

ok im sort of new to tab what does the "b" in between the 9 and 10 mean?

snizzle - 2004-06-30

the 'b' is for bend. That's the sound that you hear between the chords in the intro. To do it: Hit the string normally, let it sound, bend it down (listen to the CD for accuracy) and then bend it back to normal.

sixstringes777 - 2004-09-27

how can you bend both the nine and the ten at the same time?

e----------------------
B----------------------
G----------------------
D----------------------
A------9b10------------
E----------------------???????????????

Rescue - 2004-09-28

You don't. you bend the 9 and then play the 10

Rescue - 2004-09-28

I'm sorry
Completely ignore my other comment
You don't bend at all
Your supposed to slide
a|---------9s10s9----
e|--7-7-7------------ETC.

scottcg - 2004-09-29

sixstringes,
you play the 9nth fret, then bend it until it sounds the same as if you were playing the 10th fret. just bending a half a step, in this case, bending an f# to a "g". This just allows that smooth "smear" between notes instead of an immediate change from one pitch to another. Plus, it just makes you feel cool when you're bending notes all over the place :)

GuitarBeemer - 2004-10-14

on

3-3-3-3-3-3-5
it should be
5-5-5-5-5-5-7
5-5-5-5-5-5-7
3-3-3-3-3-3-5
otherwise, it's the correct intro

GuitarBeemer - 2004-10-14

and,
you don't slide on this song, you most definately bend

GuitarBeemer - 2004-10-22

and then you just do the same thing for all of the parts that use the intro after this, you just make them power chords

i dont know - 2004-10-26

hey yall try droppin to drop-d and playin like this

D-9-9-9-----7-7-7-----2-2-2-----5-5-5-5--7-7
a-9-9-9-----7-7-7-----2-2-2-----5-5-5-5--7-7
d-9-9-9-4b5-7-7-7-4b5-2-2-2-4b5-5-5-5-5--7-7
g-------0---------0---------0---------------

on that -4b5- thingy you play those at the same time and bend the 4 up to sound
-0---
the same as the 0

GuitarBeemer - 2004-10-28

this tab is pretty much for the people who have just started playing and would like to know the intro

carsonh76 - 2004-11-06

come on man! we all know that the song is played with more than one string at a time!

carsonh76 - 2004-11-06

and all of you should know that you bend on this song. not slide. just bend it slow ot get that slow rising sound like in the real song.

Amalga_001 - 2004-11-24

First, you got the root notes right. But the intro consists of powerchords. So you'd be playing this:

B5 A5 E5 G5

As for the note run, you can either slide or bend it. Jon (lead singer/guitarist) bends the string, but depending on your skill level you might want to slide it instead until your ear can get used to the pitch so you'd know just how far to bend it. So it's either:

9b10b9 or 9s10s9

SWTchfotroks#1 - 2004-11-29

how do u bend the 9 and 10 ??????

Jesusisluv_34 - 2004-12-01

hi

jsoccer - 2004-12-09

pretty good for standard tuning.

Michael1596 - 2004-12-16

"9b10".....this means bend the ninth fret up to get the pitch of the tenth.

Michael1596 - 2004-12-16

and yea....its more than one string

shatterx - 2004-12-21

i think this is the intro

e|----------------------
b|----------------------
g|---------------------
d|-----4b-----4b--222-4b--555-77-------------
a|-222----000-----222-----555-77------------
D|----------------222-----555-77-----------
for the bend, do a complete bend down and bend all the way back up

sporsboi - 2004-12-27

you should use power chords...sounds much better

Jimmah - 2005-01-26

wow your all wrong. i correct someone on this in another post. but i'll do it again. My band and I are playing this live so i know how the intro goes trust me (as well as the whole song). E-mail me if you want me to tab out the full song cause i got nothin better to do.
This is the intro, and yes its correct and yes its in drop D
Fbr= full bend release
G---------------------------------------------
D-444--4fbr--222--4fbr--222--4fbr--555----77--
A-222--------000--------222--------555----77--
D-----------------------222--------555----77--
Dont even try to argue with me cause i know its correct. Peace.

G-Everlasting13 - 2005-02-15

Well, I really don't care what you and your band play live, but everyone here know's that they power chord the intro.

rockonrk86 - 2005-02-18

guitarplayer67 - 2005-05-13

To The person that made this tab. to play meant to live th right way you play
e------------------------------------
