"Savior"
Collide
Tab by : CrossWarrior email: cgravshibbyguitar@excite.com
The song is awesome! I couldn't figure out the acoustic guitar throughout
the song. If somebody knows it, help me out! Otherwise the song is pretty
simple. Give any suggestions, and don't be too hard. This is my first tab.

Questions and Comments

Why do you have it in drop C Tuning? not to be mean but that'll just waste a whole lotta time. Drop D it and lower all the tab by 2. The only reason you would need a drop c or drop c# tuning would be because you play the strings open and need the c and c# chords but since you never play anything lower than a D you only need a drop d tuning.

I play it in drop C cause most of skillet's other songs on "collide" are in drop C, so I thought it would be easier to play other songs on the cd from drop C. Plus i play most songs in drop C, but yes you can play in drop d. It will save a lot of time if your in standard tuning. I tabbed off my guitar, so that's why it's in drop C.

You Don't have to put it in drop C. It's alot easier to do Drop D Since thats as low as they go on the power chords.
I think I have a correction, but you don't have to believe me because I'm just a dumb bass player fooling around on the acoustic! I've never really played guitar or done tabs. Okay here it is: Chorus:
D -----------------------------------------------
A -----------------------------------------------
F --------------7-7--3-3-------------------------
C -2-2--2-2--2--7-7--3-3--2-2--2-2--2--5-5--7-7--

C -2-2--2-2--2------------2-2--2-2--2--5-5--4-4--
Try that, see how it sounds. I'm working on the acoustic part, man that's tough...so many strings
Here's what I have on the acoustic part. Don't know if it's right but it sounds good. D tuning (not drop C)

"I am the one who's haunting you"
I honestly don't understand this wierd tuning you guys do but drop D is all you need for this song. This is the Acoustic Part in the beginning. The Chords that I tabbed may not be 100% exact but it is easier like this.
C(strum) C(strum)D(strum)
e--------------------X--------------------------X-------X--
B--------------------X--------------------------X-------X--
G---------------7---------------------------7--------------
d-----7~8~7---7------10----------7~8~7----7-----10------12-
A---0----------------10-------0-----------------10------12-
D--0--------10-------10------0---------10-------10------12-
(You repeat this twice)
This is the simplest way to play it w/o having to tune your guitar.
Let me know what you guys think.
I would tabbed this song myself if it wasn't for this darn accoustic part well here's my take on the accoustics don't think its 100% correct but it sounds decent
e----------0-000-----------0-00-00--
B---0h1----1-111----0h1----1-11-33--
G------2---2-222-------2---2-00-00--

something like that i'm guessin
Hye little drummer boy r u sayin i dont stand out enough?!!!!
Hi my name is JOHN L. COOPER (lead singer/bassist) and ino that we play it in drop c and d tuning it depends on which girl i was kissin that day so now if u think im lien call or subscribe to my magazine who gives a crap weekly or call 1-800-IM-RIGHT-YOUR-WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is the second time Iv'e seen josh777 say he was the lead singer or player of a popular band and I'm pretty sure he isn't because also claimed to be the lead guitarist of thousand foot krutch and i know for a fact that the lead guitar player of TFK and lead singer in skillet are completely differnt people. so I am pretty sure that josh777 is not the lead singer of either.
so josh777 please stop lying!!!!
wow guitar chord freak u sure think u know a lot or maybe everyone band has the same guitar player just differently dressed so unless u know for a fact and have seen me(which you have on all the album covers) then i suggest you quite accusing ppl of what u dont know!
well if u say all the guitar players are all the same person how come they have differnt names (by the way I have other people who agree with me that you're probally not singer or guitarist of either) i don't mean to make you mad or upset people and get a fight going but until you have proof that you're a singer or player of a band then I'm not gonna belive it.
Ok sorry guitar chord freak after a year of searching I apologize know I know I am just the guitarist for TFK and I said Skillet because I wanted to start a verbal fight so sorry one and all very sorry hopefully you can forgive me!!
