Title: Might Have Ben Hur
Artist: Switchfoot
Album: The Legend of Chin
Copyright 1997 Meadowgreen Music / Sugar Pete Songs / ASCAP
Tabbed by "Yours Truly," Jon Coller aka BTStars32

Intro (with slight distortion) note: I believe that Jon doesn't change the
distortion at all but I don't have the right amp or any dis. pedal to find
out.

Verse One

F#5 E5 D5 E5*
F#5 E5 D5 D5
E5* E5* D5 D5 /F5*Hold

Chorus
(Guitar and bass share the riff and it's hard to tell if the guitar is playing
the bass notes too because they are octaves so I included bass so you can play
the whole thing all by yourself!) note: keep high notes short and an optional
A5 can be played at the end of the F5* E5* lick instead of hitting the A bass
note

Verse Two

F#5 E5 D5 E5* B-5/10
F#5 E5 D5 D5 E5* E5* D5 D5 /F5*Hold

Chorus

(Riff One) F5* E5* (Riff One) F5* E5* F5 G5 A5 A5

Outro

(Riff One) F5* E5* (Riff One) F5* E5* F5 G5
G------4/7\6-4
D-------------
A---7--------- A(Bar form w/ B and e strings muted)
E-5-----------

BIG note: Chords with an * after their name means that the chord is to be
played on the A string not the E string.

Even more notes: In the chorus Jon doesn't realy play the 2 on the D
string but why not? Also, the F#5 in the verses may be a G5. Finally, 5
chords are power chords and I prefer to include the octave when playing
this song, but it's up to you.

This is a really good tab, nice job on it. One of the first songs I ever learned to play on guitar.

younguitarist46 - 2008-03-05

it seems all peaches an cream except one note in the intro,
instead of a 6h7 try 4h6, other than that its was spot on
