hey guys, I guess it was sorta arrogant to say "these are the TRUE chords!", but I was just getting so fed up with all those bad versions. Anyway, here are some revisions:
1. If you're a beginner, replace F#m: 2m4600, with 2m4400.
**2. Totally forget my old version of G2: 3m0030**
3. Replace it with: 3m5400 if you're a beginner
or with: 3m5700 for the most accurate sound
k, that's it! Sorry for not getting right the first time! Remember to rate it if you think it's good! ~Johnny
Awesome tab. I think I'll go ahead and give it a five. The only thing i would comment on is the intro. You don't seem to have the same walkdown in the beginning as they do in the song.
Tell me what you think of this. Take your "D" chord fingering, and put those figners two frets up, resulting in
e--4----------------------------------------7-----5-----4-----0-----5-----------
B--5----------------------------------------5-x3--5-x3--5-x3--5-x7--5-x18-------
G--4-----Now use your pinky to do this:-----4-----4-----4-----4-----4-----------
D--x----------------------------------------x-----x-----x-----x-----x-----------
A--x----------------------------------------x-----x-----x-----x-----x-----------
E--x----------------------------------------x-----x-----x-----x-----x-----------
with the first chord of each section being slightly accented. Listen to the song to get the perfect flow.
hate to say it, but the song is in the key of E, so the chord progressions are going to be based off of E. Your C variments aren't bad, it just doesn't seem to go quite as well.
super crazy tab! i have to agree with the new intro though. if you wanna make it sound just perfect youll go with that, but if ur like me and can care less, i think the original works fine too. God bless!
p.s. im new to this so dont take my word for it :-)
This tab is not bad, but I think it's a lot more work than they did on the album. It sounds to me like this song was recorded using DADGAD tuning. If you've never tried this tuning before, it's a nice drone sound, and it almost gives it a 12-string feel since the D appears in 3 octaves in this tuning.
So tune your guitar to DADGAD, capo 2nd fret, and work up and down the G string and this song is VERY easy to play. God bless, ~Gary
good tab,but not the way they play it.here is the way they play it:
