The G is a little flat, try a G# (just at the B string second fret), its much more of a toned sound. Why C9, I thought C sounded just fine...and its much easier to get to, and sounds clearer....
A G# would be 4 6 6 5 4 4 (or 4 3 1 1 1 4 or X 11 13 13 13 11) what you mean is a normal G, since it has all the notes that would be in a G chord (G, B and D) however, one B (open B string) is replaced with a D (third fret, not second) which would give a bit more full sound on a guitar.
Just don't call it G#, its confusing.
ive been playing the chords. their spot on apart from the end of the bridge. onstead of the Am, hold the C9. it keeps with the bouncy feel to the song and sounds more like the recorded version.
