BASS TAB

This is a great FIF song to play if you want something easy. It's a lot
of repetition, but it goes fast on "Upbeats & Beatdowns," so you have to
listen closely to when the notes move around. Also, Keith plays the
bridge funk-style on "Cheeses of Nazareth," and I believe he uses a wah
pedal or some other mode of distortion. Once you're comfortable with
the bridge, you can do the same! Slapping and picking sound excellent
in this song. Enjoy!

Legend:

r = let the note ring until the next note
x# = play the note repeatedly for # beats (you can change the timing to make it sound cooler)
* = changes (check for notes)

*3rd time: Play the first and third Bs at the end of part C
*(Listen to the song for the timing)

[Chorus] "West or bust, in God we trust..."

Played exactly the same as [Intro: Part 2]. However, right before the
bridge and at the very end of the song, part changes like this:

  (Pre-Bridge C) (Ending C)
G|----------------|--------------------|
D|----------------|--------------------|
A|--------0-------|--------0-----------|
E|2-2-2-4-----4---|2-2-2-2-----4---0---|

Once you've memorized the bassline for [Intro: Part 2], you can try out
these little changes. They make it sound a lot cooler.

[Bridge]

  (A) (B) (C)
G|----------------|----------------|----------------|
D|-------2-2-2-2--|----------------|22-2-222--------|
A|4-44-4----------|-------4-2-0-2--|--------4-2-0---|
E|----------------|44-4-4----------|--------------4-|

The order for this is ABABABAC.
This is quite confusing, listen to the song before attempting it.

Well, that's it. I think it's around 98.752% correct, the bridge might
be a little off. This song is a lot more fun to play if your running
around the room or adding your own sound effects in the background.
Happy bass playing, y'all!
