I have seen all the "Salvation Is Here" tabs and none of them are really accurate.
So here it goes, the right way to play this song. This was my first time writing
out a tab, but it's pretty easy...just takes time I guess. Enjoy :)
Slide = /
h = hammer
p = pull
* = play 8 times
~ = let ring
All parts of the song are played in Double Time with the exception of the break
to the chorus and the chorus its self.
Intro:
G|----------16----16----16------------------------
D|------------------------------------------------ Do this x2
A|-14*/9--14*-1414--1414--14----------------------
E|------------------------------------------------
Verse (Right After Intro):
G|---------------
D|--------------- Do this the first time after the intro
A|-14*-11*-9*-7*-
E|---------------
Verse Normal:
G|---------------
D|-9*------------ Switch to this because it's easier to play then moving up
A|---11*-9*-7*--- the neck on one string in a large gap (sounds smoother).
E|--------------- On second to last time of the verse being playede he switches
to a lower octave.
So The E (or 7) would be played on an open E to switch the the next lower octave
then play this.
G|------------------
D|------------------
A|-2*---------------
E|----4*-2*-0*------
End of verse into chorus play:
G|-----------------------
D|-----------------------
A|-4-4-4-444--7-7-7-777--
E|-----------------------
Chorus and Music Break in Verse:
G|--------------------------------------------------------------
D|--------------------------------------------------------------
A|-----------------7-7-7-7-7---7---9-9-9-9-9---9---7-7-7-7-7h9--
E|-7-7-7-7-7h9p7h9-----------9---9-----------9---9-------------9
At the end of the chorus he doesn't do the hammer on's but keeps playing the
(7)E
Bridge:
G|-------------------------------------------------
D|-----------------9-9-9-11-11-11-11-9-9-------9---
A|--11-11-11-11-11-----------------------11-11---11
E|-------------------------------------------------
G|-----------------------------------------------
D|-----------------------------11-11-11-9-9------
A|--------11-11-11--11-9-9-9-9--------------9-9-9
E|--7-7-7----------------------------------------
G|-----------------------------------------------
D|-------------------9-9-9----------9-9----------
A|-7-7-7-11-11-11-11-------11-11-11-----11-11----
E|-----------------------------------------------
G|----------------8-8-8--------------------------
D|-------11-11-11-------11-11-11-9-9-------------
A|-9-9-9-----------------------------9-9---------
E|-----------------------------------------------
Outro Is same as the Intro But I'll put it anyways
G|----------16----16----16------------------------
D|------------------------------------------------ Do this x2 and end on the 14
A|-14*/9--14*-1414--1414--14~---------------------- and let it ring for a bit.
E|------------------------------------------------
Song order:
Intro
Verse (all parts)
Chorus
Intro
Verse (all parts)
Chorus
Bridge
Chorus
Outro
I hope I didn't forget anything...
