This is a pretty tough song to play so it might be best to listen
to it a couple of times listening specifically for what Keith(bass player)
is doing. You may even want to play it a couple of times with your bass
unplugged or turned down.
Whenever you see '\', it means to slide up to the note
Whenever you see 'h', it means to hammer the next note
Here's the Intro:
G------------------------------
D-----------------------9-8---- Play this whole thing through 2X
A--987----987----987--99-9-10--
E-7---10-9---10-7---10---------
On the third time you will add this part to the end:
G------------------------------------
D--------9----------------9-88-98--11
A-77-7\10--------9-77-7\10-------9---
E---------77-7\10--------------------
On the fourth time, instead of playing D-11 at the end, play E-2.
This is the first verse:
E-7-5-3-0-2 Obviously you will playe each note multiple times,
I just didn't want to count out how many times to play it
This is the second verse:
G-----------------------------------------------------------------
D------2h4---------------2h4-----------2h4------------------------
A-----5---22-0232-------5-------54----5---22-0232-----44-477-755-5
E-33-3-----------43-33-3----22-2--33-3-----------455-5------------
Here comes the chorus:
G-----------
D--2-------- Again you will obviously play each note many times.
A-5-2---2---
E----5-3-5-2
And the Grand finale Opera Outro:
A-3-----3---5-3-5-3--- Last time you will play each note more
E--3-5-3-3-5---3-5-2-7 than one time.
I spent a long time on this so it should be almost completely accurate.
If you can't get it, just listen for the timing of everything, it's
kind of tricky sometimes.
If you have any comments feel free to e-mail me. Especially if you
are the bass player for BarlowGirl ;). Even if you don't have a comment,
but are cool e-mail me.
