The Bands
Song: Days of My Youth
Jordan Davis is located in Redding, CA. Though he has written a lot of songs, he has a hard time finding like-minded individuals to make music with. As of now, he is working on a CD in which he will play all instruments, the proceeds of which will go towards his and his fiance's upcoming missions outreaches to Central America.
Song: Brian's Cross
Song: Unforgettable Kiss
Hello, I am from Clear Lake, Iowa but recently moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I am the only member in my "band" and I sing and play the guitar, and also recorded my own songs (as it shows). I got started writing music in the early summer of 2006 after the death of a friend (who I had feelings for) that I had taken to the prom a month and a half before the accident. It sparked many feelings within me, and I started writing them on paper, and unexpectedly into a song. I've been writing ever since.
Song: Images of a Planet
I'm located in Troy, New York, which is on the Hudson River a few miles north of Albany. Though in the past I've been involved with various local bands or music ministries, lately I've been playing acoustic guitar solo.
Song: Understand
Cry of Stones is based in the Salem/Woodburn Oregon area. Bobby (the Bass guy) placed an ad back in August of 2007 ("Christian Bass Hack wants to play"). Billy (the Guitar guy) answered and said he knew a drummer (Rick, the Drum guy). We got together in Billy's garage, working on a mix of Classic and Christian rock. When we started writing original material it all "came out Christian" and we realized that we were all heading in that direction and we decided to put all of our musical efforts towards making music for Him, dropping the classic rock and concentrating on our own original material which covers a fairly eclectic swath of rock styles as well as a mix of covers of Christian groups such as Newsboys, Need to Breathe, Rush of Fools, David Crowder, etc. Luke 19 says if we keep silent, the very rocks would cry out in praise to Christ, so we are gonna try to do our own part...
Song: Eyes: the blind shall see
Song: Never Heard A Sound
Five Minute Plan is an indie rock band from the Central Florida area. Formed by four high school friends in early 2001, the band’s sound has evolved over the past decade from youthful pop punk to serious indie rock. In 2007, the band members went their separate ways and Five Minute Plan lives on as a studio project by founding member John Fairfull.
Song: Element - Personification of the Perplexed
Fleshbane is based out of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area with members Dominique Benninger on guitars, Jason Bolton on vocals, Stu Kavolis on bass and Joel Paine on drums. Fleshbane started out as a worship team project. Guitarrist Benninger and Bassist Kavolis led the band into heavier and more technical musical areas before finalizing the lineup with Paine on drums and Bolton on vocals. Fleshbane released one demo and two albums. The band selected their name from a hat of possible names, since no one could agree on a final name. The name refers to the putting off of the Old Man - literally, the bane (destruction) of the flesh (sinful nature of Man). This is the hope found in Christ alone.
Song: Light of Day
Flowstone, a Dallas/Fort Worth christian rock trio 2 years in the making, brings a whole host of various loud to the table in the 21st century. Equipped with samplers and fx, the guitarist/vocalist frontman mc does his fair share of well organized chaos. The drummer, who is often mistaken for a cloned buddy rich fused with a veloci-raptor, is actually the jedi knight of bpm, chris munson. Kevin Parks locks the groove and gets all tactical with the bass. All lyrics/songs are based from/on the gospel and coated with just enough loud to digest easily into the ear canal and into the heart. Our motto: rock for the Rock!

Song: I Curse You Now
We (Golgotha) are a Christian Metal band from Sydney, Australia consisting of Lachlan Brown (Vocals/Guitar/Drums/Programming); Ben Hillier (Guitar); Liam Hillier (Bass); and Matt Delaney (Drums/Percussion). Ben and Matt were in Year 9 at Sydney Boys High School playing in the Year 9 Rock Band and they didn't have a bass player. Lachy, who was in Year 12, was asked to fill in on Bass and to add some experience to the line up. At the first rehearsal, they recognised him as one of the leaders of the SBHS Christian Fellowship and learned that they shared a mutual appreciation of Christian Metal bands such as Demon Hunter. Lachy was on the CGR mailing list and when he got an email about the November Song Competition, he sent it off to Ben and they decided that it was an excellent excuse to start a Christian Metal band of their own. Bringing in Matt and shortly thereafter Ben's younger brother Liam, they wrote and recorded two songs for the competition. Picking the one they thought was recorded the best, they sent it into CGR. It seems appropriate to say something now like "...and the rest is history" but given that "the rest" is only a few days at the time of writing, that would be a little pointless.
Song: Dreams In My Pockets
I'm simply a guy from the southeastern USA who writes songs inspired by God, people, and the world around me.
Song: My Evil Twin Has A Moustache
Hooray for Gooba! is a comic-book-inspired punk rock band that currently consists of Daniel "Kurt" Wagner and no one else. Daniel is located in Abbotsford, BC, in the far-off land of Canada. Daniel is formerly of The Neverknown, which became nevermore when Tyler, the drummer, moved to Ottawa, ON. Needing a creative outlet and loving comic books, Daniel started Hooray for Gooba! and intends to produce a home-recorded EP called "Gooba Wins!" to be released in 2010.
Song: Dropped Mints and Cigarettes
(the) Indigo Getdown is the lo-fi experimental acoustic project of Drew (aka SupaNova)- former high school percussionist, amatuer songwriter, and piano class drop-out. Beginning as the aspiration for a full fledged band (hey, the dream's still there!), tIG has settled into something more like the musical moniker that won't go away. Originated in the heart of Texas, currently jamming in the hills of Indiana.
Song: Sam I Am
My name is Derek and I'm from Saskatchewan (it's a province . . .). I am the only member in my 'band', meaning I do all the guitars, bass, vocals, and software drums. My 'band' is called Inigo Sneezes (pronounced 'Ineego'). I came up with the name in high school during English class, it was a fragment of a sentence of some sort. I started this project because I simply love music, or more particularly, punk rock. Unfortunately this song I have submitted isn't all that punk, oh well. I decided to do a parody a Dr. Seuss story in the song, simply because I wanted to write something fun for once, and because it's Dr. Seuss, come on. So thats it. The song is NOT neat and tidy, its kinda sloppy, but it was meant to be fun, so I hope you enjoy the music!
Song: I've Been Redeemed
Jordan Biel and his band are located in Cortland, OH. Jordan's music is described as passionate, rocking worship to Jesus. If you're ready to praise God with total abandonment, give Him honest lyrics and true worship, you'll enjoy Jordan's music. Drummer: Jeff, Acoustic: Danielle Biel, Bass: Adam Sikora; Jordan plays electric gtr and keys.
Song: The Undead 1
The Bloody Benders is Patrick Shay's solo project. He writes all the music and plays all the instruments. This project is an outlet for Patrick's creative ideas that don't fit cohesively with his band Let's Ditch Dale.
Song: Not For Me
The Morning Glass is a four-piece indie-rock band based in San Diego, CA. The quartet features Ryan Burke (guitar/vox) and Steve Rowe (guitar) formerly of San Diego's Your Favorite Band and Megan Lee (bass) and David Lee (drums) formerly of San Diego's Like Warrior Poets and Reno's All Day Drive, respectively. The Morning Glass formed in spring 2009 after the break-up of Your Favorite Band, and brought together these four friends needing continued creative output through music.
